About Camtech
Camtech was established in 1983 through a partnership with the Adelaide University. Initially Camtech was formed as an ISP, and quickly grew to one of Australia's largest ISP's. In 1993, Camtech focused on providing leading E-Commerce products and services to the payments marketplace.
In 2001, Keycorp Limited, a global provider of secure electronic transaction solutions, acquired Camtech.
In 2006, Camtech was sold by Keycorp Limited to SecurePay Pty Ltd. SecurePay is a major Australian provider of secure electronic payment services (www.securepay.com.au). They provide a broad range of industry specific payment solutions including call and contact centre payment switches, and a range of specialised services for state and local government departments and financial institutions. With over 2,500 clients and an annual value of transactions processed exceeding $6b, SecurePay is Australia's largest provider in the card-not-present space.
Camtech's business model incorporates over 200 certified distributors, including web hosting companies, integration solution providers, software developers and ISP's. Our distributors provide web site design & support services, hosting services and shopping cart/catalogue solutions. We are always looking for opportunities to form alliances with IT/Technology companies wanting to provide value-add E-Commerce services to their clients.
Camtech also provide electronic payment solutions directly to SME's, corporates, government organisations and utility companies. Camtech offer tailored & back-end solutions that cater for Internet sites, Wireless applications, Call Centre solutions & also IVR platforms.
